"Actually, music can be written for a single instrument as long as it is technically able to encompass all the necessary elements (tune, harmony, etc.); this applies to the piano or the bandoneon, for example. Thus, the composer would have answered the question, ‘By means of which instrument will my music resonate?’
Undoubtedly, the need to combine different instruments to the same end while trying to achieve a novel timbre drives the musician to think in terms of a group.
I feel likewise. Therefore, my compositions for the various instrumental groups are different expressions of myself, even if my music is the same. No format is better than the other, they complement each other, they are different universes. I’m thankful for having the opportunity to do so."
